We are thrilled to share highlights from our recent attendance at the Groundswell Festival 2025, which took place on the 2nd and 3rd of July at Lannock Farm, Hertfordshire. As Beanstalk Global, we are on a mission to re-connect people with their relationship with food and support a healthy, thriving, sustainable fresh food sector globally. Our presence at Groundswell, a forum dedicated to regenerative farming systems, perfectly aligns with our commitment to identifying challenges, exploring opportunities, and driving solutions across the global fresh food supply chain.

During our time there, we were particularly focused on supporting the important work of Trinity Agtech and the new initiative they are actively supporting, Nasda UK. Trinity Agtech provides Sandy, an easy-to-use, award-winning software for navigating natural capital, offering credible carbon footprints and whole-farm optimization to enhance business resilience45. The associated initiative, Nasda UK, delivered through the not-for-profit Trinity Natural Capital Pro Council, is a game-changer for British agriculture.
Nasda UK offers a simple, farmer-first way to turn farm data into a new income stream. Farmers retain full ownership and control of their data, choosing what to share and when. The initiative ensures privacy by blending data and pays farmers fairly, allowing them to keep 95% of every sale made on Nasda UK’s marketplace. The remaining 5% supports national agricultural societies or other chosen rural charitable organizations89. This approach aims for healthier, more profitable farming by unlocking the value of farm data and providing nationwide best-practice insights.

Crucially, Nasda UK is currently in a consultation phase, and we strongly encourage all farmers and agri-professionals to get involved this month. This is your vital chance to shape a data system that works for farmers, protecting your data, unlocking its value, and giving you full control and a fair return. The Trinity Natural Capital Pro Council, an independent group of leading farmers and rural professionals, is developing and guiding Nasda UK with a commitment to building solutions for farmers1012. Your input will directly influence how Nasda UK supports farming businesses and ensures the ongoing benefit of the entire sector.
