125 YEARS OF HARPER ADAMS – AND WHAT A WAY TO CELEBRATE!

In September, Beanstalk Global had the pleasure of covering the official 125th Anniversary celebrations at Harper Adams University.

Over two memorable days, we photographed the formal proceedings and the moments in between: HRH The Princess Royal, the University’s Chancellor, addressing guests; the presentation of Honorary Doctorates; and students, alumni, staff and leaders from farming, horticulture and fresh produce coming together.

125 years of Harper Adams

Harper Adams first opened its doors in 1901. The anniversary celebrates generations of students and staff who have gone on to make their mark across agriculture, food, horticulture and the wider land-based sectors.

These events marked the start of a wider programme of celebrations running through the University’s 125th year. They were also a chance to look ahead: to the people Harper Adams is educating now, the partnerships it is building and the challenges our sectors will ask its graduates to help solve.

That’s what made this such a rewarding event to photograph. Alongside the ceremony, there were reunions, conversations and plenty of laughter. The images we’re sharing here are a selection of those moments and the people who made them happen.

Thank you to the Harper Adams team for inviting us to document such a special occasion. It was a privilege to be there, camera in hand.
