Over 100 MDS trainees and representatives from 30 member companies came together for an inspiring day for the MDS Annual Conference, featuring keynote speeches from Laura Appleton (Vitacress), David Coop (Elsoms Seeds Ltd), Clare Hadway-Ball (Soil Association), and Calum Lister and Alice Johnston (BASF).

A highlight of the day was the well-deserved recognition and awards presented to several outstanding trainees including the likes of Jamilla Mohammed wining her much deserved Doug Henderson Award.

A particularly poignant moment came as the remarkable Christine Tacon CBE, outgoing MDS Chair, shared how proud she is of all that the MDS team and its trainees have achieved to date.
