Multilingual Food Industry Expert with Proven Commercial and Supply Chain Experience.

A commercially driven food industry professional with a strong track record across international markets, combining deep food knowledge, excellent relationship-building skills, and broad commercial experience.

Beginning his career as a commodities trader in the City, he thrived in a high-pressure environment requiring sharp, rapid decision-making. During this time, he led a key initiative that enabled the company’s entry into the ethanol trading market. He later transitioned into foodservice marketing, gaining hands-on experience in supplier relationships and margin-focused food distribution. Over the past decade, he worked as a food photographer with producers, brands, and supermarkets, developing a unique, consumer-focused understanding of what drives purchasing decisions and brand perception.

Fluent in French and Spanish, and having lived in Spain and South America, he brings strong cultural fluency and confidence in building relationships abroad. His international experience gives him a valuable edge, especially in navigating diverse markets and solving problems on the ground – whether in Europe, Latin America, or the UK.

Known for his clear communication, he’s equally comfortable speaking with growers in the field or presenting to senior stakeholders and retail partners. A confident negotiator, he’s personable yet direct, with sound commercial judgement shaped by a varied career across the food supply chain.

Highly independent and analytical, he brings initiative and drive to solo projects, while remaining a natural team player who delivers results. With a strong personal interest in sourcing and fresh produce, he is now seeking a return to a full-time commercial role – ideally in buying or commercial management – where his blend of industry insight, international experience, and commercial acumen can help drive growth.
