The wheels are in motion! Beanstalk Global, in proud partnership with CUPGRA, has officially kicked off its nationwide filming and photography tour across the UK to explore and celebrate the mighty potato sector.
From the soils of family-run farms to the precision of modern processing facilities, we’re capturing the real stories behind Britain’s most iconic crop. This isn’t just another road trip – it’s a powerful campaign to champion the innovation, passion, and people who make the UK potato industry one of the best in the world.
Why Potatoes Matter
The UK potato industry produces over 5 million tonnes annually and supports more than 2,500 farms and thousands of jobs. Worth over £4 billion, it remains a cornerstone of British agriculture and food security. Through our motorbike-led adventure, we’re revealing the heart, scale and human impact of this vibrant sector.
Already On the Road
We’ve started strong – filming is complete at Greens of Soham, with Cockerill’s and Waldersey Farms up next. Expect videos, photography, and social content packed with insight, humour, and inspiration. And we’re just getting started. The likes of Dyson Farming, Foskett Farms, and NIAB open days are next in our sights.

Drip UK – Andrew Howseman. One man. One system.
With the potential to revolutionise UK potato and vegetable farming through his groundbreaking Drip UK services, we met with Andrew and his remarkable team – alongside Tim Allen and Andy Blair of Branston Ltd – to explore why only 3% of the UK’s potato crop currently uses drip irrigation, and why that number urgently needs to rise for the benefit of the entire sector.

Waldersey Farms – Sustainable Precision Farming
Waldersey Farms Ltd produce great food – wheat, onions, potatoes, sugar beet and many other crops. They have been growing crops and caring for the environment for over 40 years. In that time, they have seen many changes in the nature of farming – and in nature itself. Through innovative practice and by embracing new technology, Waldersey Farms Ltd is adapting and growing to become one of the most important agricultural businesses in the country.
