Beanstalk.Global were at The 33rd Annual Cambridge Potato Conference Conducting Live Interviews

Open to all, CUPGRA’s annual potato conference, provides an opportunity to interact with the foremost industry innovators and scientists to debate current issues.

This year, under the conference title ‘IPM – integrating sustainable innovations for potato management’ speakers were outlining current and future industry challenges and opportunities, exploring new approaches to pest management, the potential of cover crops and reduced tillage, and the role of biotechnology in potato breeding.

We were very excited to have been asked to attend to conduct a number of live interviews at the conference to highlight the great work of CUPGRA and to highlight the sector as a whole. They were as follows:

Stuart Roberts of T. Roberts & Son
Peter Craven of CUPGRA & NIAB
Alex Godfrey
Matt Smallwood - Agronomist for McCain Foods
“Are cover crops & reduced tillage the solution or the problem?"
Sarah Roberts
Ed Hodson of GRIMME (U.K.) Ltd
Joseph Martlew of NIAB
Sophie Bambridge - Chair of CUPGRA
Mark Taylor representing GB Potatoes
Nick Tapp - Head of Client Services @ Craigmore Farming
Alastair Ross of Frontier Agriculture

Filmed 13th/14th of December 2022.
