We had the pleasure of catching up with the UK’s Grocery Code Adjudicator on her fascinating background within the food sectors and also her defined and very well respected leadership style.
With a background of Engineering from Cambridge and then time served with some of the UK’s larger brands (Mars, Anchor, Vodafone), she spent over 11 years transforming the farming business for the Co-operative Farming Group.
Most recently she has been overseeing the implementation of the Groceries Supply Code of Practice by large grocery retailers as the UK’s Grocery Code Adjudicator. She is also Chair of MDS, a 2 year management training scheme in the food industry for graduates and a Director of the AF Group, a £250m purchasing co-operative for agri-business.
